“Only stayed one night, but could have stayed forever! Beautiful setting just outside Aviemore away from all the tourists, but less than 2 miles from the centre. The attention to detail in the rooms here is second to none, the bed was wonderful, fluffy towels, a cafetierre for coffee in the room.
We ate in the restaurant and the food was outstanding, the people who own it are so friendly and make it feel like a home from home. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and we will be back”

“We received a very warm, relaxed welcome by Steven. Our large room with a super kingsize bed had the "wow" factor. Very tastefully decorated, and three big windows overlooking Loch Alvie and the surrounding beautiful scenery. The location is quiet and peaceful. The bed was the most comfortable we have slept in of the many hotels we have stayed in over the years. We couldn't get the huge flat-screen tv on, and it was no trouble to Steven to get it sorted for us. The breakfasts were first class, and although we didn't dine there in the evening, there were wonderful aromas coming from the dining room as we went out. This hotel should be a "five star" An excellent place!”

“This was a marvellous find and unfortunately we only ate there. Next time we go to Scotland we will book in for some days. Great area, delightful ambience in the hotel, welcoming smiles and friendly efficient service. The dinner we had was just superb - food stunning and an inventive menu making the most of local produce.”
