We are delighted that our meals are enjoyed by so many of our guests who appreciate our simple & wholesome but varied & interesting Scottish modern cuisine.

Breakfast

To start your day, choose from a selection of Traditional Scottish Breakfast items, including our famous Rowan Tree Porridge with whisky & Demerara or the lighter options of ham, cheese, fresh fruit & yoghurts.

Dinner

This is a relaxed & casual affair, served at 5.30pm to 8.30pm each evening. As you'd expect, your meal is individually prepared for you by ourselves using only the freshest, principally Scottish, ingredients.

Our superb menu offers the very best Scottish dining in the area, with an excellent range of dishes, some based on more traditional fare, others on new & interesting recipes. What is beyond question is that all are very enjoyable.

Table reservations

Please note that should you wish to dine with us during your stay, it would be most helpful if you could make your table reservation/s with us on booking, or prior to arrival. This makes it much easier for us to guarantee the dining time of your choosing.

Special Diets & Recipes

We’re more than happy to cater for special dietary needs with prior notice. Whether you are, for example, vegetarian, vegan, diabetic, lactose intolerant or gluten free, we can offer you a good selection from which to choose. Please let us know your needs when you book.

Wine, Beer and Spirits

We have made a very personal selection of top quality, great value wines from around the world. The list includes some perennial favourites alongside other, interesting bottles that you may not have sampled before.

Our bottled real ales - which are locally brewed – are very popular indeed and we carry a small, well chosen range of malts, representing a good cross section of the differing whisky styles.
