We
are proud to have earned a 2 Medallion Grading for Very Good Food along
with the coveted Taste of Scotland Award.More importantly, we are delighted that our meals are enjoyed by so many of our guests who appreciate our simple & wholesome but varied & interesting Scottish home cooking. Breakfast To start your day, choose from a selection of Traditional Scottish Breakfast items, including our famous Rowan Tree Porridge with whisky & Demerara or the lighter options of ham, cheese, fresh fruit & yoghurts. High Tea. From Easter to mid October, we serve Traditional Scottish High Tea between 4.00 & 6.00pm. This is a light meal suitable for guests who prefer to eat early in the evening, for those with smaller appetites and for young children. Dinner. This is a relaxed & casual affair, served at 7.00 for 8.30pm each evening. As you'd expect, your meal is individually prepared for you by ourselves using only the freshest, principally Scottish, ingredients. Our superb Taste of Scotland menu offers the very best Scottish dining in the area, with an excellent range of dishes, some based on more traditional fare, others on new & interesting recipes. What is beyond question is that all are very enjoyable. View our Dinner Menu Special Diets & Recipes. We’re more than happy to cater for special dietary needs. Whether you are, for example, vegetarian, vegan, diabetic, lactose intolerant or gluten free, we can offer you a good selection from which to choose. Please let us know your needs when you book. If you have a special dietary need, please click here for more information on how we can help you. We are often asked for our recipes – no problem. We simply ask for a small donation to our local charity helping young people with disabilities enjoy the outdoors. Wine, Beer and Spirits We have made a very personal selection of top quality, great value wines from around the world. The list includes some perennial favourites alongside other, interesting bottles that you may not have sampled before. Our 3 real ales - two of which are locally brewed, the other travelling down from Orkney – are very popular indeed and we carry a small, well chosen range of malts, representing a good cross section of the differing whisky styles. Our selection includes the new Aviemore Single Malt, a delightful tot, well worth a try. |
